At My Day Nails & Spa, services rendered here are NON-REFUNDABLE. If you require a repair for services done by us, you must notify us ASAP and return to the salon for evaluation. Any repairs or adjustments are done at salons discretion. Gift certificates cannot be used with any discounted sales.
SCHEDULING & CANCELLATION POLICY:
At My Day Nails & Spa, we reserve valuable time and resources for your visit. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly request that you provide us with at least 12 hours notice. Failure to cancel or reschedule made less than 3 hours will result in a loss of your deposit. A $10 deposit is required for Online Booking and will be applied to services. If you are more than 7 MINUTES LATE for your service on Fridays & Saturdays and 15 MINUTES LATE for your service on weekdays, we may not be able to accommodate you. In this case, the same cancellation deposit loss will apply. For eyebrows waxing services, scheduling is not required. Cancellation or rescheduling can be made via e-mail at ms.huele@yahoo.com or phone at (804) 667-6416. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we will do our best to work with you on a case-by-case basis.
WAXING POLICY:
The waxing service(s) provided by this salon could have unfavorable results including, but not limited to: allergic reaction, irritation, burning, redness, soreness, etc... Certain medications and over the counter products can significantly increase the risk of injury when combined with skin care services. My Day Nails & Spa does not recommend skin care services for customers using Retin-A, Retinol, Retinnoids, Acutance and products containing alpha hydroxyl, or any other skin thinning treatments. Our guests understand that using any such medications may cause or contribute to such injury/reaction, and should advise their esthetician should they use any such medications. There are often inherent risks associated with skin care services, and as a condition of providing these services on an ongoing basis, My Day Nails & Spa shall not be held liable.
HEAD SPA POLICY:
To ensure the best experience and minimize the risk of any issues, we strongly recommend scheduling your Head Spa treatments when your extensions are removed or between maintenance appointments. At this time, we are unable to perform Head Spa or scalp-focused services on clients with protective styles such as braids, dreadlocks, cornrows, twists, box braids, matte hair, or synthetic hair. These styles limit access to the scalp and hair in a way that prevents us from delivering the full benefits of our treatments.
CHILDREN POLICY:
To maintain a serene and relaxing ambiance for all our clients, please arrange for childcare during your visit. We love children, however, this policy is in place for overall safety and care. We cannot be held liable for children coming into contact with hot or sharp tools, chemicals, or machinery, nor can we supervise children while providing services. We strive to create an environment conducive to relaxation and well-being for all. Children under 6 are no longer permitted inside this premise for safety & quality of service concerns.
